Laika presents two new Ecovip models 

San Casciano in Val di Pesa, February 2021 – There are still a few months to go before the start of warm weather, and we still don’t know exactly when it will be possible to go on the road again, but Laika doesn’t stop and presents two models, the Ecovip L3010 low-profile motorhome with transverse nautical-inspired double bed, and the full-size Ecovip H3119 motorhome with rear twin beds. Two models that express all Laika’s commitment to designing new solutions and guaranteeing high quality.

ECOVIP L3010 – A SINGLE SLEEPING AREA

The Ecovip L3010 is a low-profile motorhome on Fiat Ducato 120 hp mechanics with an overall length of 699 cm, L-shaped dinette and transverse nautical-inspired double bed.

The living area is large and has two windows on both sides, providing a panoramic view. The dinette can accommodate up to 6 people at the table and 4 when travelling, thanks to the 130 cm long L-shaped sofa on the left-hand side and the 101 cm long linear sofa on the right-hand side. Also on the right-hand side, the chest with a large lowered compartment can also be used as a unified compartment, allowing large materials to be stored. As in the rest of the Ecovip range, the double walk-through flooring is illuminated and heated (standard).

The folding bed above the living room (optional) is perfectly regular, without any narrowing, with a constant 140 cm width for the entire 186 cm length. In addition, the living unit door is accessible even when the bed is lowered.

The domestic-type kitchen is complete with double sink and 140 l maxi fridge. The toilet with maxi shower is equipped with a door that can be used to separate the bedroom, providing more privacy.

In the sleeping area, the transverse nautical-inspired double bed has side access: two comfortable side steps facilitate access to the bed. The slatted base can be reclined to form a chaise longue, thus creating a true relaxation area from which to fully enjoy the 32-inch LED TV, positioned in the special TV compartment with peninsula and eco-leather. At the side of the bed, the illuminated bedside table with USB ports is useful for inserting books, glasses, magazines, smartphones and recharging your devices.

The rear area of the Ecovip L3010 has as much storage space as a walk-in wardrobe! In addition to the pull-out wardrobe under the bed for easy and convenient loading, there is an additional, easily accessible pull-out drawer unit. There are also many other compartments such as the shoe drawer in the base of the step and a corner unit that can also be used as a shelf. The whole area is carefully designed, with soft lines that echo the style of the living area, and carefully planned lighting in every space. Natural light and airiness are guaranteed by the two symmetrical windows, while the perimeter heating ensures capillary heat distribution.

In the garage, the space is perfectly organised, thanks to the shelves with fall-protection edge on the right-hand side for tidy and secure loading, and the compartments in the double flooring on the left-hand side, which are spacious and easy to use.

ECOVIP H3119 – A FULL-SIZE MOTORHOME WITH ALL COMFORTS

On Fiat Ducato 120 HP front-wheel drive mechanics, with extended rear track, the Ecovip motorhome H3119 is one of the 9 Ecovip full-size models in the Laika 2020/2021 catalogue.

This model is 699 cm in length, with a large L-shaped dinette and twin beds in the rear. Type-approved for four occupants with four berths as standard, with the possibility of adding a fifth as an option.

Like the rest of the range, the Ecovip H3119 is equipped with a heated and illuminated double walk-through flooring – accessible from both outside and inside the vehicle – which houses the technical systems and storage compartments. The insulation of the walls, roof and floor in extruded polystyrene foam (XPS)makes it an ideal vehicle for the winter as well, thanks also to the 6 kW ducted air heating system that guarantees capillary heat distribution in all areas of the vehicle.

The domestic-type kitchen with double sink, three-burner cooker and extractor hood is convenient and designed for everyday use just like at home. The L-shaped living room with high-comfort upholstery can be customised with many different fabric combinations. The table can be moved in all directions, allowing the living area to be used as required.

In the sleeping area, the two twin beds measure 193×82 cm (right) and 191×82 cm (left), and are equipped with wooden slats and high-comfort “Ergonomy” mattresses. The folding bed with slats – standard on all Ecovip motorhomes – measures 190×145 cm and is fully integrated into the wall unit line. The folding bed area is equipped with a roof porthole, storage compartment, heating and separation curtain. Adjustable reading lights and USB ports are available in all vehicle beds.

In addition to numerous internal storage compartments, the spacious garage allows you to take everything you need on the road. Measuring 212x124x121/97, the garage is lighted, heated, insulated and has double locks. In addition, the floor is equipped with a drain for water.
